OUR DOCTOR
ENRIQUE DARANCOU, DDS
Dr. Enrique Darancou, DDS, is the owner and dentist of El Paso Modern Dentistry and the owner of Desert Willow Dentistry in West El Paso. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, a Fellow of the International Dental Implant Association, and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He speaks English and Spanish.
Dr. Darancou’s work centers on dental implants, full-arch All-on-X, and full-mouth rehabilitation. He also provides same-day CEREC crowns, clear aligner orthodontics, and night guards for patients who grind or clench their teeth. He is certified in pediatric sedation.
EDUCATION & SERVICE
He is a member of the OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry, which studies why teeth wear down and how the bite affects the jaw joint. That training guides how he treats worn teeth and TMJ pain. He also belongs to the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the El Paso Dental Society.
Dr. Darancou has volunteered at Jefferson High School and the Texas Tech dental school in El Paso, in the Dominican Republic and El Salvador, and as a Spanish interpreter for cleft palate surgery teams in Ensenada, Mexico.
FAMILY & PERSONAL
His family’s roots are in El Paso. He has also lived in Ciudad Juarez, Los Angeles, Orem, Utah, and Iowa City. He and his wife, Angela, have three children: Enrique, Valentina and Viviana. Away from the office he enjoys running, fishing and coaching.

He focuses on helping patients feel comfortable while delivering effective, modern dental treatments. Dr. Williams is committed to supporting healthy, confident smiles in a welcoming environment.
